I love how the Original Four Do something like a slow fade to desperation. Hunger is Normal. Just a sad tone. Aspirer starts off with a droning buzz, showing something is already wrong, and then starts with a repeated beat with no backing track. And then Hunger comes back, with a quieter backing track, with the drone getting even louder, only to be cut off after BF’s turn, returning to the repeated beat. And then for the final Hunger Loop, the Backing track is back and strong, but the Droning Buzz also is louder. Not to mention how Rebecca looks slightly more bloody. Then we move on to Crybaby. The Alarm In the background makes a perfect uncomfortable Beat. And then How Hunger comes in, completely devoid of Emotion. It feels so… empty! And then it’s cut off by Rebecca Singing with the Alarm. Then there’s… Empty. The pure Desperation as Rebecca sits on her knees, trying to keep going. The pure chaos shows how hard this is for her. And then the final Alarm beats before she collapses. This is the only song where Hunger doesn’t appear, which I believe shows she’s at the end of the line and can’t even hold that beat anymore. Empty seems much more fast paced, as if Rebecca stops singing, she’ll collapse.
